Hyderabad: A shifting automobile caught fireplace on the Patny flyover in Secunderabad on Tuesday morning. The driving force and others touring within the automobile managed to flee on seeing flames from the engine.
None had been harm within the incident and a brief circuit within the engine is suspected to have triggered the fireplace, police mentioned. The incident occurred when the automobile was continuing from Secunderabad in direction of Begumpet. The alert driver who observed flames from the engine stopped it on the center of the flyover and escaped.
Motorists passing by alerted the fireplace division and the police, following which a fireplace engine rushed to the spot and doused the fireplace instantly. The automobile was gutted within the fireplace.
The incident led to visitors congestion on the busy Paradise – Begumpet route. The visitors police reached the spot and moved the automobile from the flyover and cleared the visitors.
