Mangaluru: Residents be part of candlelight vigil to sentence rape-murder of minor at Ulaibettu

Mangaluru, Nov 23: Scores of scholars, professionals and different residents of Ulaibettu gathered close to Parari Dwara right here on Tuesday November 23 to take part within the candlelight vigil held to sentence the incident of rape and homicide of a minor lady which happened on November 21.

The gathering expressed shock over the incident and demanded the arrest of the culprits with none delay. Additionally they urged the authorities to make sure the protection of minors who reside within the colonies of factories round Mangaluru.

It could be recalled, a younger lady’s physique was discovered dumped in a drain at Parari in Ulaibettu right here on November 21.The deceased was the daughter of a manufacturing facility employee. The lady had been lacking since 4 pm on Sunday. After looking within the surrounding areas together with the premises of the tile manufacturing facility the place her father works, the lady’s physique was then discovered dumped in a drain close to the manufacturing facility.

It’s suspected that the lady may need been murdered by somebody working on the manufacturing facility. The police who swung into motion have already detained 20 suspects and began the investigation.
