With a brand new illuminated entry level and fashionable passengers’ facilities, Indian Railways’ South Western Railways (SWR) zone has lately upgraded the Yesvantpur railway station in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The SWR undertook the modernisation of Bengaluru’s Yesvantpur railway station at an approximate price of round Rs 12 crore.

“The works on beautification of the station had been taken together with Davanagere, Dharwad and Mysuru railway stations. To date, work on the Mysuru railway station is over and the renovation work is underway at different stations,” E Vijaya, Deputy Normal Supervisor, SWR instructed The Indian Categorical.

The station is now outfitted with upgraded amenities, parking areas, together with auto and cab stands, have been upgraded with wider method roads.

Along with this, a bus bay has additionally been constructed which can permit Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Company (BMTC) buses to ferry passengers to and from the station.
