CBI searches 4 areas over ‘unlawful’ use of land to boost Atmosphere Mall in Gurugram : The Tribune India

The CBI on Monday performed searches at 4 areas after submitting a case of unlawful conversion of residential land to boost the swanky Atmosphere Mall in Gurgaon, officers stated.

The CBI has registered an FIR on the orders of Punjab and Haryana Excessive Courtroom which had termed the mall unlawful. 

The Excessive Courtroom had sought a separate investigation by the CBI to probe alleged unlawful actions, if any, and doable collusion between the builder and state authorities.

The Atmosphere group runs Atmosphere Malls in NCR and luxurious resort The Leela Atmosphere Conference Centre amongst different such actual property properties. 

The petitioners had alleged earlier than the Excessive Courtroom that 18.98 acres of land on Delhi-Jaipur Nationwide Freeway in Gurugram earmarked for Atmosphere Lagoon Island Residential Complicated was diminished to only 7.9 acres with a business complicated erected on the remaining land. 

That they had alleged that such violation the builder-buyer settlement and provisions of the Haryana Improvement and Regulation of City Space Act, 1975 was not doable with out the collusion of officers and builders. — PTI
